Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Morning:
Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you will be greeted by your guide.
Transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan (approx. 1.5-hour drive).
Afternoon:
Check-in at your hotel in Thimphu and have lunch.
Visit the National Memorial Chorten: A stupa built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
Explore the Buddha Dordenma: A gigantic statue of Buddha offering panoramic views of Thimphu Valley.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing – Transfer to Punakha
Morning:
Visit Tashichho Dzong: The fortress that houses the throne room and offices of the king, along with the central monk body.
Explore the Folk Heritage Museum: Learn about Bhutanese rural life and culture.
Afternoon:
Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (approx. 3-hour drive). On clear days, enjoy stunning views of the Himalayan ranges.
Visit Chimi Lhakhang: Also known as the Fertility Temple, dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley.
Evening:
Check-in at your hotel in Punakha.
Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Punakha.
Day 3: Punakha Sightseeing – Transfer to Paro
Morning:
Visit Punakha Dzong: A majestic fortress at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, known for its beautiful architecture.
Short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten: A stunning monument built to promote peace and harmony in the world.
Afternoon:
Drive back to Paro (approx. 4-hour drive).

Day 4: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Morning:
Early breakfast and prepare for the hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest).
Begin the hike to this iconic monastery perched on a cliffside, offering stunning views of the Paro Valley.
Afternoon:
Reach the monastery, explore its sacred halls, and learn about its history and significance.
Descend back to the base and have lunch at the cafeteria.
Evening:
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang: One of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5: Departure from Paro
Morning:
Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure flight.
