Druk Air Corporation Limited, operating as Drukair — Royal Bhutan Airlines, is the national airline of the Kingdom of Bhutan and operates a modest scheduled flight network within the South Asian region from its base at Paro Airport in the western dzongkhag of Paro.

Taking its name from Druk, the airline was founded in 1981, ten years after Druk Gyalpo His Majesty King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck gradually began to open up the Kingdom from self-imposed isolation, and seven years after welcoming its first foreign visitors. As the only airline flying into Bhutan, Druk Air has become a lifeline with the outside world for the Bhutanese people, as well as supporting emerging inbound tourism and export markets.

Day 01

Arrive Paro Airport by Druk Air from Kolkolta where you will be received by the representative of Bhutan Nomad Adventures.

After clearing your Bhutan Visa and Luggages. Drive to Thimphu. (Drive time two hours). After late Lunch stroll around Thimphu Town. Overnight

Hotel.

Day 02

After Breakfast full day sightseeing around Thimphu Valley. Morning visit Memorial Chorten, Painting School and National Library.

After Lunch visit Handi Craft Center and Textile Muesum. (Drive time 10minutes for each sightseeing places). Overnight Hotel.

Day 03

After Breakfast drive to Begena with packed lunch. (Drive time 35 minutes). From there walk up to Cheri Monastery. ( walk time

two hours). After lunch walk back till your car and drive to Thimphu. Overnight Hotel.

Day 04

After Breakfast drive to Wangdi. (Drive time 3 hours). Enroute drive pass Dochula Pass and if weather permits view the Eastern

Himalayan Ranges. After lunch visit Wangdi Dzong and Town. Overnight Hotel.

 

Day 05

Late Breakfast. Drive to Punakha. (Drive time 40 minutes) and visit Punakha Dzong and Town. Then drive to Thimphu for lunch.

After lunch relax or do shopping in Thimphu town. Overnight Hotel.

Day 06

Early Breakfast and drive to Paro. (Drive time 2 hours). Morning visit Drukgyal Dzong and Kikchu Lhangkhang. After Lunch visit

National Muesum and Paro Dzong. Overnight Hotel.

Day 07

After Breakfast drive to SasamChorten. (Drive time 20 minutes) From there ride on ponies till view point of Taksang Monastery

Lunch at Cafeteria. Then walk down till your car. Drive to Paro and if time permits do shopping.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 08

Early Breakfast and drive to Paro Airport to catch your flight to Kokolta by Druk Air. (Drive time 15 minutes) Where your Guide will help you with your luggage and bid you farewell.


Day 01

Arrival at Paro Airport by Druk Air from Bangkok.

You will be received by your local tour guide. Then drive to hotel and if time permits do a bit of sightseeing.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 02

After breakfast, full day sightseeing in Paro Valley. Morning visit Kikchu Lakhang and Drukgyal Dzong. Lunch in town.

Afternoon visit museum and Paro Dzong. If time permits stroll around Paro town.

Overnight hotel.

Day 03

Early Breakfast. Today full day excursion to Taktsang Monastery. Drive till Satsam Chorten and then on riding pony till the view point of Taktsang Monastery. Lunch at Cafeteria. Then walk down till the motor road, where your vehicle will be waiting for you. Drive to hotel have tea and pack your bags and drive to Thimphu.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 04

Late breakfast and full day sightseeing in Thimphu valley. Morning visit Memorial Chorten, Painting School and Handicraft Center. Lunch in Town and in the afternoon visit Textile museum and Thimphu town.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 05

Late breakfast and then drive to Thimphu Dzong. Lunch in town and in the afternoon again see the festival.

Day 06

Late Breakfast and visit the Thimphu festival or drive to Tango or Cheri Monastery with Picnic Lunch.

Day 07

Early Breakfast and the drive to Trongsa with Picnic lunch. Drive about 8-10 hours. Overnight Hotel.

Day 08

Late Breakfast and visit Trongsa Dzong, then drive to Bumthang for lunch. After lunch do walk around the valley.

Overnight Hotel.

Day 09

Late breakfast and then full day sightseeing in the valley. Morning visit Jamba Lakhang , Kurija Lakhang and other small monasteries.

After lunch visit Bumthang dzong and the Swiss farm.

Day 10

Full day excursion to Ura with picnic lunch, en route visit Membartsho.

Day 11

Early breakfast and then drive to Wangdi with Picnic lunch.

Overnight hotel.

Day 12

Late breakfast, then visit Wangdi and Punakha Dzong. Lunch at Punakha and in the afternoon drive to Thimphu.

Late breakfast and shopping in Thimphu town. After lunch, drive to Paro and if time permits do shopping in Paro town.

Early breakfast and drive to Paro airport to catch your flight to Bangkok by Druk Air.


Day 01 – Sunday or Wednesday

Arrive by Druk Air to Paro Airport, where you will be received by the representative of Bhutan Nomad Adventures. After completing your visa and formalities, drive to Thimphu (2 hours drive time). Check in Hotel and if time permits do a bit of Sightseeing.

Day 02 – Monday or Thursday

After Breakfast, Full day sightseeing in Thimphu Valley and then morning visit to Memorial Chorten, Painting school, National Library. After Lunch visit the Textile Museum, Handicraft and in the evening stroll around Thimphu for shopping.

Day 03 – Tuesday or Friday

Early Breakfast, then drive to Paro and do Paro valley sightseeing. Morning visit to Drukgyal Dzong and Kikchu Lhakhang. After Lunch, visit Paro Museum, Paro Dzong and if time permits do shopping in town.
